She looks kind of natural in the CNCF Village Manager's office, doesn't she?

Two girls in the CNCF ger village doing some extraordinarily good papercutting in their family ger.

Aisling, Eamonn's assistant at CNCF, shows us a family ger at the village.

G with Olga (the Village Manager), one of the ger mothers and her "family" inside their ger.

This woman does daily miracles in a tiny kitchen - up to 100 meals per lunchtime during school term.

This is how the kitchen ger looks like from the outside.

The onsite nursery and school at the ger village (with the village well in the foreground).

Did I say well?  Not much to look at, but it provides all the washing water they need.

Classrooms always look a bit sad during school holidays with no children in them, but it gives an idea of the environment.  Literacy rates in Mongolia are in the high 90%'s, so it isn't all bad news.

Better than a "Toilets" sign, don't you think?

Their sanitation block, made out of an old shipping container.  Apparently there is a fundraising group in the Gulf States who support CNCF and who are hoping to raise enough money by the Autumn to build a permanent block to replace this.

The greenhouse, currently with a full crop of potatoes maturing nicely.

The play area, which we did see being used.

A general view of the whole site from the fire brigade practice rescue tower next door - which apparently nobody has ever seen used!

She's going to do what she can to ensure her new "brother" gets a rather better life from now on...

... and her "sister" is going to help...

... along with his new "Mum".  He absolutely loves yoghurt apparently - so he must be a real Mongolian.
