The view from the back of our Hotel in Omsk.

All the old favourites. (Lenin, Mark and Gagarin sharing top billing in Omsk)

A good campsite in Russia!  It only took us two and a half months, and we found it.

The only five star hotel east of Moscow apparently.  You know where your cash goes to - keeping all those windows cleaned to a silvered shine.

The Waterside in Ekaterinburg.  Apparently the flaggy thing on the bridge was its reward for being a very good city in World War II.

Craft stall alley in central Ekaterinburg.  It's down the middle of Lenin Street - I'm sure he would have approved.

This is the Ural Polytechnic Institute - Ekaterinburg University to you and me.  The bloke in the foreground thinks he knows the answer...

Badly focused sunset shot near Ufa, masquerading as art.

I know it's not in focus, but I just think it looks kind of cool.

Our campsite near Ufa - with the main road a full twenty metres away.  Good for a quick getaway in the morning...
