Sittin' in the middle of the Gobi, readin' emails, as you do.

No one in the hotel in Dalanzadgad spoke any English, which makes you wonder why they bought these mugs for the rooms.  It must have been for the scary looking picture of a bear, just look at him stare at you...

More weirdness in Dalanzadgad.  This was some high quality Mongolian film.  It was great.

Walking on a slab of ice in the middle of the Gobi.  Very bizarre.

Our ger at the Three Camels camp.

It was pretty impressive inside.

Ever the responsible ones, dad prodded it with a stick and I poked it with a bag and took photos.

There is a lot of this around, it's very cliché.  You find carcasses in various stages of decomposition all over the desert, sometimes they can be pretty grisly.

I think we chose possibly the best place in the world to break down.

But no worries, we got it sorted (admittedly with a little help).  The block of metal in the centre of the picture is the thermostat housing.  That nut on top of it is supposed to be a plastic plug.

I will, I'll bash you right across the face with radiator sealant fluid, just you wait.
